The UNCA Bulldogs lost to the Liberty Flames Saturday night, 83-54. It’s the first conference loss for the Bulldogs, who had been on a tear with a seven-game winning streak. But UNCA pretty much came unraveled in the second half of the game and ended getting hammered. Everything that could go wrong for UNCA did go wrong – they were outscored by 27 points in the second half.

UNCA’s Kenny George, the tallest man in college basketball, did not play. He’s recovering from knee injuries.

UNCA will have to keep fighting to keep their chance of landing an NCAA bid. The Bulldogs take on High Point next.
