U-Joint in West Asheville to host new craft market, the Westy Market

Like shopping for unique gifts online at etsy.com? Then you’ll love the Westy Market! 

The new Westy Market offers local, vintage and handmade crafts for sale by area artists. The next Westy Market will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on the lawn of the Universal Joint Bar, located at 784 Haywood Rd., in West Asheville. Patrons are invited to stay and enjoy food and drink specials at the U-Joint after they shop. The event is held rain or shine.

“We held the first Westy Market in August,” said Jason Allison, Universal Joint Bar manager. “Despite a rain storm, the event was still a big success. So, we’re pleased to announce that the Westy Market will be held on the third Saturday morning of every month. It’s a great way to support some amazing local artists.”

Other upcoming Westy Markets will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays October 16 and November 20.
