   There’s an online guide for railroad buffs that describes good spots for trainwatching in NC. I still remember its description of Marion with the concluding sentence, "Beware of Marion, a rough town with bad food." LOL.I always remembered that comment whenever I saw the signs reading "Welcome to Marion".

   hate to admit this because I am a native of MacDowell County but this is about as enteraining as it gets in Marion unless you visit Ivan’s. And as long as our town doesn’t allow anything to come in (i.e. Liquor by the drink), then this will be as good as it will get.

   To be honest with you, I couldn’t watch the whole thing.

   I used to see something like this and honestly try to understand, but not anymore.

   They have the right to do what they want but I don’t have to watch.
