I know the girl with the t-shirt. She’s 23, not 16, and happens to be one of the most beautiful girls in Haywood Co., or anywhere for that matter. The choice to interview her was an astute decision on the part of the photographer, because she’s also highly intelligent. Although I’m not in the news business myself, I can imagine it would be hard to find intelligent opinions in a place like Waynesville. Her intellect dances circles around the rest of the population.
As to the t-shirt, I think she made it herself. You can print out a picture on the computer, and iron it on. I’m not surprised about the Russ Bowen Fan Club, as he is very popular in the area.
