Here in Buncombe County, if early voting remains strong, we could see 50 percent of registered voters voting early. That’s right. Fifty. Percent.
Incredible.
So how’s it going on this beautiful Saturday? Lines at the polls? Have you voted already?

I voted Thursday at the North Asheville library and waited about 10 minutes– probably the longest I’ve ever waited to vote, and I usually vote on Election Day.

Yes,I voted early. The line was about a 15 minute wait…not bad.

i voted late last week at my alma mater, UNCA. it was nice to vote early and avoid lines, but it feels anticlimactic. sort of makes me wonder if my vote may have gone ‘poof’ somewhere. but the paper trail is nice at least… no more ‘video game’ voting.

I voted yesterday at the Innusbruck Mall location and there was a 10-15 minute line.
