From the Beer Guy, Tony Kiss, of the Asheville Citizen-Times:

Baseball is back, and with it comes another season of Thirsty Thursdays at Asheville’s McCormick Field ballpark, when draft beers are just a buck for national brands and $2 for craft brews.

The year’s first Thirsty Thursday is April 14, but the Asheville Tourists ballclub and Highland Brewing are turning on the taps early this week.

A Thirsty Thursday kickoff party happens 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the Highland Tasting room, 12 Old Charlotte Highway.

This bash includes almost everything except the grand old game — including $2 beers, $2 ballpark food specials, a T-shirt giveaway to the first 100 visitors and a special Thirsty Thursday ticket package ($50 for all 10 Thursday games, a real steal).
