The Altamont, a new theater on Church Street in Asheville, is preparing to open. From their page on Facebook:

Auditions! Auditions! Auditions! Local auditions for equity and non-equity musical theatre professionals for Altamont Theatre Company’s upcoming inaugural season are upon us! Check back with us early next week for dates and times! Tiffany R. Hampton, Artistic Director, is looking forward to checking out the professional talent in the area!

The first show, Pete ‘n’ Keely, is scheduled to start running on Nov. 3. The Asheville Citizen-Times did a recent update on the theater.
