Steven Curtis Chapman is a Grammy-winning Christian music star who played the Biltmore Estate’s Summer Concert Series on Aug. 1.
As soon as he came on stage, he started talking about the tragic death of his 5-year-old daughter, Maria, whom his family had adopted from China. She was killed in May when one of her brothers, while pulling out of the driveway at their family home in an SUV, ran over her.
Tickets are not sold out for the Biltmore Estate’s Summer Concert Series, which includes upcoming shows by Gladys Knight, B.B. King, REO Speedwagon and more.
