i wish they could have clocked a city bus going down beaverdam road. i have followed one before just to see how fast it was going, and i could barely keep up at 50 miles an hour. 50 mph…for a city bus on beaverdam, it was quite ridiculous.

Want to see real lunacy? Film on Merrimon Avenue. It’s a race way. Everyone barrels up and down the hills (used to be mountains) like they’re on their way to a fire.
Dangerous, and a tremendous waste of fuel, too.

Sadly, this is a problem all over Asheville… we grew faster than our town fathers had money or desire to match.
I can’t decide which is worse; that I just wasted 9 minutes of my life watching that or that someone else spent hours making that?
