Screwy Hoolie, on my Jazz Composers Forum post:
Ash, My bro-in-law, Sam Macy, was one of the founding partners of the JCF, and they’re doing some of
the best composing and performing in the southeast. Always affordable and always amazing.

Screwy, my bro-in-arms, like I said – I had no idea. You need to be pimping them a lot more, dude. I’ve never heard of these dudes.

mxmulder on my Bonfires for Peace post:
Thanks for the link! I got called out of Ashvegas unexpectantly and missed the BONFIRES gig. I did make it to the Friday night drum circle. Great pics of Sunshine. I’ll send the band members and groupies this way.

mulder, this is sculley… i dropped my flashlight… mulder? … MULDER????? Seriously, that drummer dude for Sunshine looks wacked, but in a good way.

wnc Rod on my post, Blunt trauma, about how the hiring of Larry Blunt must have surely traumatized the Wickershams:

That’s got to be a blow to Scottie2Hottie. How can one be to inexperienced to read the news?

I don’t know. How can one get a high-paying job on television as a weather-guesser?

2cents, on Blunt:
I had the priveledge to work with Larry Blunt back when he was in the Greenville Market back in the mid ’90’s. He was the original “Buyer Beware” guru before Tim Waller took it over. Larry was a hoot to work with and had some pretty funny story ideas. He’ll do fine as long as he doesn’t loose his temper! Larry was also featured on “Breaking News” on Discovery Channel when he worked in Denver’s KUSA. Welcome back to the sunny South, Larry!
