Ok, the long-awaited “Five Things” post. I stole the meme from Edgy Mama, who stole it from someone else. (Thank you, Edgy Mama.) It’s a good way to get to know yourself, and someone else. My answers probably change week to week, but here’s where I’m at tonight:

5 things I can do:
1. Hospital corners with a bed sheet
2. Make a mean apple pie
3. Learn

5. Make stuff up (this is a good one, EM)

5 things I can’t do:
1. Eat lima beans
2. Watch Tar Heels quietly
3. Draw
4. Play a musical instrument
5. Understand hate

1. Ass, heart-shaped
2. Strong-willed determination and softness, co-existing
3. Eyes you can see into

5. Accepts me for who I am, but challenges me to do better

4. All Hemingway – can’t pick one

1. Write and publish a children’s book
2. Return to Normandy

FD wants me in a warren with you two? The mind boggles…

Teaching Watership Down to high school freshmen for two years kinda ruined the book for me. I’m with you on the Hemingway, though.

Daddy, don’t know what it was about that book, but it has stuck with me through the years.
