Press release here:

Since 2006, LightShare connects generations through educational programs to build community.

LightShare is not IN the community, LightShare IS the community.  LightShare teaches generations how to connect their assets and resources in order to impact the whole community.  They have reached hundreds of residents in our backyard and want to expand our connections.

One connection is Serendipity Consignment Boutique in Arden, NC.  On Saturday, September 19th,   Serendipity will be donating 30% of their sales to LightShare to benefit young and old, women and children in Buncombe County.

Serendipity is a new way to shop. At Serendipity you will find name brand items in perfect condition at affordable prices.  They carry a large selection of apparel for women, men, and children, including plus sizes and maternity.  Their collection also includes toys, baby gear, decorative furnishings, furniture, and much more.

Come shop!  Bring in your consignments to donate to LightShare.  Or stop by with a non-perishable food or diaper donation to go directly to LightShare’s free food pantry.

When:                  10am-5pm on September 19, 2009
