There’s some neat stuff happening over at Scrutiny Hooligans, a fellow Ashvegas blogger. You need to check it out.

Screwy’s site is beautiful. He picks some funky photos to illustrate, the site’s nicely designed and the political commentary is sharp and thought-provoking.

You need to also check his site and vote in his poll, down the right-hand side. He’s trying to get a sense of how many people would be interested in attending a blogger summit in Asheville.

Personally, I think it’s a neat idea. I don’t know about you, but I don’t really know what the hell I’m doing. I could use some networking just to learn more about blogging. Computers aside, just getting together and downing a few beers would be great.

I’ve been watching what they’ve been doing in places like Greensboro, a veritable hotbed of blogging. Here in the mountains, we’re much more scattered about. But it might be nice to get together.

Networking – it’s the power of the Internet baby. Let’s put it to use.
