Press release here:

Asheville’s own Runaway Circus and the Loose Cabooses will be presenting their 5th annual community circus at the Odyssey School gymnasium during the first two weekends in April.

This year’s show entitled, Portal Party, paints a magical picture of what can happen when a mysterious gift arrives at a boring ole’ hum drum birthday party. Prepare to have your socks blown off with real live acrobatics, juggling, trapeze, tricks, feats and more – all set to a live musical score.  The Odyssey School is located at 90 Zillacoa Street near UNCA in Asheville.

Showtimes are April 1-3 and April 8-10.  Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 pm and the Sunday shows are at 2pm. Just before the Sunday performance on April 3rd, the circus performers will be side-walk parading from downtown Asheville to the Odyssey school where the excitement will continue with preshow entertainment by 23 Skidoo and the Pond Brothers! The parade will meet up at Pritchard Park at 12, and leave around 12:30. Everyone is invited to be part of the parade. Cost of admission to the shows is a $10 suggested donation, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
