Pity party…so sorry that the "C" level managers still get to work here and you don’t. Mayble it’s because you were "D" level?
Why can’t you be happy that the Asheville Citizen-Times is still here, every day, reporting community news? And why can’t you be happy that the empoyees are out in the community spending money on groceries, clothes, beer, restaurants–keeping the economy afloat until things look up around the nation? Or do you have to be from somewhere else to recognize schadenfreude?? SAD.
Havent heard a thing yet.
Don’t know how we can reduce the workforce much more.
Soni is right. The paper looks like there is no one left in the building. Oh, I forgot, Hatchet Hammer is still roaming around in his ivory tower. I’m sure that he runs into the ghosts of quality journalism in the halls all of the time.
What a pity!
Is anyone still working there? At the rate they’re going, I thought they were pretty much down to the C-level managers, a receptionist and some guy with a Twitter account.
