Ron Rash to read, sign books Tuesday at WCU

CULLOWHEE — Author Ron Rash, a Western Carolina University faculty member, will open a new speaker series at the university with a reading and book signing 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the multipurpose room of Blue Ridge Hall.

The award-winning author of “Burning Bright” and “Serena,” Rash will be the featured guest for the Medallion Speaker Series of WCU’s Honors College. The event is free and open to the public.

The evening’s activities will include presentation of the Honors College Medallion Award to Rash, and the author will answer questions posed by Honors College freshmen, who have been reading “Serena.”
