Ray’s Weather is ready to unveil a new station in Hendersonville and needs your help!  This new station needs a sponsor – local businesses looking to advertise on a budget would find this a great opportunity.

Are you a local business looking to advertise on a budget? Ray’s Weather offers advertising options starting at $75 a month. Currently, Ray’s Weather reaches between 200,000 and 300,000 unique visitors per month. Ray’s Weather offers text ads, banner advertising and weather station sponsorship opportunities.  We’re always looking to add more weather stations, increasing our coverage area across western North Carolina.

Above is the latest press release I’ve received from Ray’s Weather, the best source of local weather forecasting, imho. The site is getting ready to add hendersonvilleweather.com to its stable of weather urls. Personally, I’m always looking at www.ashevilleweather.com to see what’s going. With local weather stations reporting real time data, they’re hard to beat.

Here’s Jeff’s description of a weather station, contraptions that Ray’s Weather is always looking to deploy around Western North Carolina:

The state of the art weather station records weather data such as temperature, dew point, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall totals and more, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Through wireless communication, it reports this data to a computer, and with an internet connection, the data is transmitted to the Ray’s Weather website.  As a result, we are reporting live weather data from areas that are otherwise not covered.  How often is the weather in your backyard different from the Asheville Airport?  With our service, we prove that and incorporate that into our forecasts, making Ray’s Weather the best forecast provider in western North Carolina.

So, if you want to know more, email the Ray’s Weather guys. Jeff is: [email protected].
