Press release:

With the dual mission of providing free family fun and sending a message to local residents to “buy locally,” Woodfin area merchants are throwing a town-wide party on Saturday, November 1st from 10:00am – 3:00pm along Weaverville Highway from the entrance of Reynolds Mountain to near the Exit 23 off-ramp. Area merchants, local farmers, artist and entertainers will be on hand in a combination outdoor market/indoor open house to help stimulate the local economy. Free children’s activities, including face painting, magic, live music, a petting zoo and pumpkin crafts will be offered in a children’s tent next to Curra’s restaurant. Plenty of free parking will be available along Weaverville Highway, at Sanctuary of Stuff at 116 N. Woodfin Avenue and in the Food Lion parking lot next to Reynolds Village.
