Folks in downtown Asheville were treated to a fantastic mini-concert on Thursday afternoon when the six-piece kick-ass band Larry and His Flask showed up at the big iron and proceeded to jam. These guys drew a big crowd, stopped traffic and had people dancing. Amazing.

    Yes, they were a really fun break to afternoon work. Their style reminded me a bit the Avett Bros and seeing the Violent Femmes at a club back in the 80s.
