Woman straddles giant vibrator. Classic.

Spotted Monday: Sheraldo headed into Wild Wing, fresh off the stolen scout flag story.

The Asheville Tourists want to charge for parking. Fans revolt.

Best handwritten cardboard sign from a roadside beggar, seen on a corner in Montford on Monday: “I’m dreaming of a cheeseburger.”

Katie at The Real Deal says new stores are preparing to open in Biltmore Village:

Only 9 days remain until the newest of Asheville stores opens: Williams-Sonoma, the store that turns kitchen dreams into reality, opens April 10 in the new shopping center in Biltmore Village. I, for one, may have to be there on opening day.
Other stores in that same building on Brook Street, just east of Hendersonville Road, will open in coming weeks. Women’s retailer Coldwater Creek opens April 17. Preppy clothing giant J. Crew opens May 6.

The giant vibrator looks like more fun to ride than a mechanical bull. I’ll admit it folks if they can vibrate the exercise into me or Virtual-Reality it into me….I’m for it. My week on, and three weeks off regimen isn’t working.

Ha– that cheeseburger sign reminds me of a sign I saw a guy holding at an intersection in Austin, Texas, asking for a beer and a taco.
