Nuke protesters on I-240 overpass get attention

Protesters dressed in some sort of white suits and carrying signs reading “No Nukes” were gathered on the I-240 overpass near the Three Brothers restaurant in downtown Asheville this afternoon. Reports are that the police responded, and that WLOS showed up.

    They were being told to leave the front of the Chamber at around 2:30. Not sure where they went from there. Great outfits, though–white containment suits and gas masks.

    They were in front of the Chamber of Commerce when I got back from lunch at 3:30, but they’re gone now.
