ABOUT THE WHOLE FOODS MARKET MOBILE KITCHEN:

At the Mobile Kitchen’s core is a former cargo container that once transported commodities to and from Asia. Salvaged from a landfill in Tacoma, Wash., the container was given a new life while retaining its exterior patina. With the addition of hydraulic, power and plumbing systems, the unit now unfolds to reveal a fully functioning kitchen. Inside, team members will prepare and serve menu options that meet the same quality standards you’ll find at Whole Foods Market. Watch this video featuring the Mobile Kitchen.

ABOUT WHOLE FOODS MARKET ASHEVILLE:

Opening its doors Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 9 a.m., the new store will reveal 35,000 square feet and features including the Tunnel Road Tap Haus, an upper-level beer garden. Shoppers can get an early look of the new store Friday, Aug. 22, and Saturday, Aug. 23 (visit asheville.wholefoodsrsvp.com to register).
