Chad Nesbitt and his fellow Carolina Stompers have lots of news, lately. The conservative group is hiring reporters and plans to launch Stomper TV sometime soon.

Nesbitt wrote here at Ashvegas that Leicester will be getting an Atlanta Bread Co. and a new steakhouse.

Nesbitt also says that John Carroll, the unsuccessful Republican candidate for Buncombe County commissioner this year plans to run against state Rep. Susan Fisher in the 2010 elections go-round.

I think 2009 could be the Year of the Stompers. Keep your eyes on these guys.

    My hood is getting an Atlanta Bread Company?!?!

    Bad news from the right.. go figure. Hell.. Arby’s didnt even survive in Leicester. The waffle house has been closed on and off for years.
