weaverville_cancer_center_2013Construction bids have been issued for a new cancer center in Weaverville, according to Northern Buncombe Happenings. An online posting states the following:

Site work and new construction of a medical development in Weaverville. Completed working drawings call for the construction of an approximately 10,600-square-foot oncology facility that will house offices, patient rooms and lobby…

And that’s all I can see, because I’m not a member of the site, bidclerk.com. The posting does say that the estimated start time for the project is Nov. 4. Can anyone shed any light on this project? Is this Mission Health, or another health care company?

do you know where in weaverville they will build? My guess is either Monticello Commons (behind the post office) or on monticello road.
