New business offers late-night delivery of food, beer, condoms, medicine, more

Your prayers for late-night delivery of condoms, donuts, beer, antacid, children’s cough meds and more have been answered. Munchies & More is a new independent business offering an online menu of items delivered for the price of the item, plus a $3.50 delivery fee.

The soft opening of the web-based business was October 10, with a grand opening planned for later this fall.

Hours are Mon-Sat, 9 p.m. – 4 a.m.

“I like to think I’m catering to multiple different crowds,” Quinn says. “I’ll have children’s cough medicine for those times that a mom can’t get out in the middle of the night, and the kid just won’t go to sleep. I’ll have everything for just about everybody for any kind of late-night purpose.”

The beer selection will include local, domestic and imported selections. Quinn most recently worked as a manager at Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company, so he plans to highlight those beers in particular. He adds that the cigarette and alcohol deliveries will be regulated with several identification processes.

Sounds awfully similar to another local business that does all of this and more… the two even share the word “munchie” in their name…

  Munchie Machine is in west avl & is like valet gourmet….this place has beer, soda, candy, cheesesteaks, white castle burgers, condoms, clear eyes, papers, screens, and its all in stock…they delivered to hville rd & the parkway in 15mins at 2am…oh wait…No one else does that….
