New business in Asheville: Bonsai Design, creator of zip line canopy tours

Bonsai Design is a new business in Asheville, according to loyal reader Jeff.  

They design, create and install complicated zip line set-ups for the purpose of tree canopy tours. They are working on a 200-acre installation near Burnsville in a setting they described as a tree-filled canyon.  

They recently did an installation in West Virginia and it was covered by Poplular Mechanics magazine…  Here’s a link to that and the 3-minute video gives you an excellent idea what this business is about.

That’s very cool. Zip lines tours are the hot new outdoors attraction around Western North Carolina. Earlier this year, there were several stories about a new zip line tour out in Macon or Jackson. Look forward to checking out their work.
