new_belgium_avl_groundbreaking_2014Here’s the big announcement from New Belgium:

Going up! We are starting our building process of our East Coast brewery in Asheville and want to celebrate with you!

In West Asheville, along the French Broad River, a 133,000 SF brewery and tasting room, where we will eventually brew 500,000 barrels annually, will be emerging. We’ll support upwards of 140 jobs at full build out. Brewing will begin in late 2015, but the celebration starts now!

Asheville, we plan to celebrate with you in fine style. Asheville-based rock, soul, gospel band David Earl and the Plowshares join us to get down with you! Tickets are free, and we recommend getting yours soon by going to Grey Eagle or Harvest Records in person. Tickets are not available online or by calling.
