I just read about this site, UCrime.com, and it looks like it might have possibilities. The site maps the location of the reporter crime, but it’s unclear where the information is coming from, and it allows anyone to report a crime, so I don’t know how the site verifies the information.

I checked the information listed for UNC Asheville real quick, and there were a few reports of vandalism and theft. But it’s only the bare bones information. It will be interesting to watch.
