I don't know that much about them other than the are definitely the best! I live in south Asheville and pick up bits of information when they come to my neighborhood. It appears that they hire college kids off for summer break. I was standing with my kids and one of the neighbor kids opened their ice cream and it dropped out of the package and hit the ground….before the kids first tear the driver had another one in the kids hand free of charge. It is definitely retro looking and a retro way of doing business……very refreshing to see and glad to see it in Asheville.
I took my daughter to a birthday party and heard that the ice cream truck was going to stop by. I was a little freaked out because I will not let my daughter eat anything off a seedy looking truck. When Norman’s showed up, I was shocked…totally surprised and blown away. These guys are pros all the way. The truck, the driver, everything was perfect!
Not to be a stickler …. but, how is an Ice Cream Truck legal in this town if "food trucks" are not so welcomed …..
