I love The Wedge, and I love movies at The Wedge. Last year I saw Thunder Road at the River Arts District brewery. This year, I’ve missed out. Next up, on Aug. 29, is Cool Hand Luke. Nothing beats a great handmade beer and a free movie down by the railroad tracks.

The Wedge Brewing Company (in the Wedge Building in the River Arts District) shows movies on the side of their white box truck in the gravel lot outside the industrial, locals hang out. Every other Saturday through October, you can bring your lawn chairs, grab some peanuts or food from the gourmet brat vendor, a tasty beverage and watchthe 9 p.m.movie for FREE!
