The Type-A Mom Conference, a gathering of one of the most sought-after group of Internet users – mommy bloggers – will return to Asheville this September. The inaugural conference was held last year and drew a couple hundred women from around the U.S. to Asheville for a weekend of conferencing.

The conference is organized by one of Asheville’s hottest social media and blogging mavens, Kelby Carr. You can read last year’s Mountain Xpress story about the event here.

From the web site:

Type-A Mom Conference 2010 will be held at the Asheville Renaissance in the heart of downtown Asheville. New this year will be Type-A Mom Business for bloggers and for companies, as well as a dad track and Tribes, small group power sessions for niches.

And here’s a powerful testimonial from Kathleen Mosher, director of communications for the Biltmore Estate:

We made contacts and created friendships with moms who love our estate and product offerings. We got great suggestions for ways to improve. Most importantly, by attending sessions as part of our sponsorship, we learned invaluable information that has shaped our marketing outreach. We look forward to doing it all again this year!

Congratulations to Kelby. Should be another great meet-up.

Thanks for the post about the conference! I also have the call for speaker proposals on the site if anyone would like to submit. 🙂
