Update: Mission Hospital bridge over Biltmore Avenue moving ahead

Mission Hospital has quietly begun construction on a new sky bridge/walkway over Biltmore Avenue. The bridge will serve employees who park on the west side of the busy street and have to get across the street to Mission’s main campus. The bridge is fast coming together. I will have more photos later this weekend. Folks who drive on Biltmore should be aware that traffic is going to be shut down at some point to put the bridge up. I’ll find out when that’s scheduled.

This will be the third bridge over Biltmore Avenue connecting the sprawling hospital complex.
