Thanks Dad and Catnap! Annabelle is all about maps. She has an amazing sense of direction, and at two would tell me which way to turn at stop signs to go to different places. She’s going to Orienteering camp this summer at the Nature Center and is totally jazzed about it. She regularly wears a compass on a string around her neck!
Maps rock! as the son of a navigator who used to use a sextant to shoot the sun, I truly appreciate a hand-drawn map that tells it like it is. You can not appreciate distance and perspective with a map drawn by computer… rock on Annabelle!
Now here is a 7 year old who knows where she’s at.
