The Biltmore Estate’s Twitter account, @BiltmoreEstate, is abuzz with news that actress Lucy Liu is in Asheville filming a mini-series at the estate. The series is called Marry Me. From Variety:

Lifetime is going forward with “Marry Me,” a story of a woman looking for her Prince Charming. Lucy Liu will topline, with Steven Pasquale (“Rescue Me”), Bobby Cannavale, Enrique Murciano and Annie Potts also on board.

From Sony Pictures Television, four-hour “Marry Me” is set to premiere later this year around the holidays on the femme-skewing net. Barbara Hall, who wrote the script with Susan Weber, exec produces with Susanne Daniels. James Hayman directs.

The crew was doing some night filming, according to Twitter, and one newly wed couple had their photo snapped with Liu. So if  you’re out on the estate looking at the pretty leaves, be on the lookout for Liu and other Hollywood types.

Really? Are there a lot of paparazzi in the AVL? When I've seen Andi/Rose about town, people pretty much ignore her. I don't think L.L. would merit much notice either.

If you would quit hounding the poor woman, she might conceivably get to experience and enjoy our fair city. But not if she has to deal with paparazzi, overzealous fans, and causing a scene because YOU TOLD EVERYONE SHE IS HERE!!!

I was the wedding photographer yesterday who snapped the pic of the couple! Lucy was very sweet. 🙂
