Ironic we have an engine named after us, but no rail service, huh?
I would LOVE to travel to Charlotte and/or Raleigh by train. However, I doubt I will live long enough to see passenger rail available. I’m in my early 60’s and I’ve been waiting since 1997 or 1998 for something to happen. Rail would be so much easier and more energy efficient for Greenville, Spartanburg, Charleson, Charlotte, Raleigh, etc.
