Last-minute flurry of activity around Dole

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole, in a close race with challenger Kay Hagan, stumped at the Asheville Regional Airport this morning, according to the Hendersonville Times-News.

Meantime, the Charlotte Observer reports that a conservation group has tagged Dole as bad on the environment.

This is one hot race!
