Weaverville Woman – I remember when that lake was little more than an overgrown algae puddle. It was a big deal when the town decide to clean it up. Which was great, because that facilitated the building of the walking trail and play ground and such. But it sure was nasty when those lilly pads and algae too over.
you got it, ash! this lake is very popular as people walk around it all day long and sometimes, all night long, too.
it has a beautiful fountain in the middle that shoots straight up and is an impressive sight. i don’t know the fountain’s schedule, but i think it’s always in the daytime.
You know, Woman, I really should have. Rain check?
thanks for coming out to visit! love the pictures! why didn’t you call?
