The L.A. times says Ashvegas actor Paul Schneider is one to watch. He’s got parts in Lars and the Real Girl and The Assassination of Jesse James.

Schneider has been stealing scenes for a few years now (he pretty much owned “Elizabethtown”), and he keeps up his streak with sly, attention-grabbing turns in these two awards outsiders. Both films have polarized critics and audiences alike, but most everyone walks away with strong positive feelings regarding the laid-back Southerner. Even if this isn’t his year (and it’s likely not), keep an eye out for this one down the line.
