Here’s the news:

Singer/songwriter and storyteller Kate Campbell will be performing a benefit concert for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity on Sunday, April 6, at 7 p.m. The event, which is to celebrate Asheville Area Habitat’s 25th anniversary, will be held at the First Baptist Church of Asheville. Admission is free. An offering will be taken and donations received will be used to help build Habitat’s 25th Anniversary House.

Kate’s music can be heard frequently on WNCW. She has recorded 11 CDs, with her latest being, “For the Living of These Days” which she recorded with the legendary Spooner Oldham.

Kate lives in Nashville but spends a great deal of time in the Asheville area. She is a regular teacher and performer at The Swannanoa Gathering.
