Jonas Gerard, painter, performer

A video crew from Good Morning America was in Ashvegas recently to film artist Jonas Gerard at work. Jonas paints to music and says he just follows his heart as he does so. He comments along the way, and when he’s got a crowd, he’ll talk to his admiring public. The GMA piece is going to be something on “happiness.” Jonas is quite a character, and his colorful work is amazing. We’re lucky to have him here.

    What a joy he is! zen took a picture of his shoes, all splattered with paint, when he came in for coffee at the Clingman Cafe. I love this photo of him.
