James Taylor to play Asheville as part of Obama tour

Ashvegas is on top of things. As I said in this post from this morning, I had been hearing that Asheville would get another big-time pro-Obama visitor. I even mentioned James Taylor.

Now there’s confirmation. From the Hendersonville Times-News:

Music legend James Taylor will tour the state in support of Senator Barack Obama’s Campaign for Change Sunday through Tuesday. He will hold concerts in Charlotte, Asheville, Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Wilmington. Details of the concerts had not been finalized today.

Taylor will help spread Senator Obama’s message of change to Tar Heel voters and encourage Obama supporters to get out and vote early.

Hi, Ash – Looks like Sweet Baby James will be here on Sunday, according to Winston-Salem Journal.
