It will always be the Civic Center to me
Just call it the Civic center. Fuck U.S. Cellular
Yes, it’s a little ugly, but it’s not that big. In a month or two, no one will notice it. And if it helps to pay the bills, its a good thing.
The sign it’s self is fine, much smaller than I was thinking it was going to be however, the building really is in desperate need of pressure washing.
Good point. The City of Asheville abandoned all power washing some years ago and reinstatement is not in the plan. This is one facets of cleanliness that the proposed downtown BID would cover.
Thoughts? Not favorable, having endured the endless name changes of a similar facility in Washington DC. I understand the sponsorship and funding and advertising, but it gets ridiculous after a certain point, and those abound.
If you really understood, you’d find it favorable as it helps pay the bills.
