There’s a group called Asheville Street Theater that was doing similar things on a smaller scale. Their Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=23296776042&ref=ts, but there hasn’t been any activity in several months.
Taken as a whole, Asheville would not get it. There would be a biblical interpretation of some kind. Sodom, or maybe Gomorrha. And the sheriffs would bump into each other and fall down trying to arrest somebody first.
Isn’t the naked bike ride crazy enough?
That rocked. I enjoyed that so much I took my pants off. We need more silly stuff like this. Why doesn’t some group of silly people crash the drum circle some night.
Have you ever looked at those people while they sit in a circle and drum? They never smile and they look very serious. Time to crash that party with a sense of humor.
I’m glad it was NY and not, say, Macon or Memphis. Much prettier-
