Julie Adams of Hummingbird Housekeeping in West Asheville offers laundry, chores, cooking help, pet care, plant care and spotless household cleaning. Julie is my friend and housemate, and what she’s done to my house since moving in stopped my friends in their tracks to admire how neat, clean and organized my kitchen is (now). My oven looks like I just bought it, inside and out. My whole house is neater and more organized.

Julie genuinely enjoys cleaning and finds it relaxing, which I’m sure is part of the reason she’s so good at it.

I called Julie after this posting and she responded immediately, even dropping off a price-list in person. She did an extremely thorough job, cleaning off years of grime (from previous owner!), even getting the kitchen walls and edges where floor meets cupboards, fridge, etc. — all on her own initiative. Her prices are workable and she was able to give me tips on cleaning products I had never even heard of. Julie seems very responsible, has good references, and is energized to make a house shine.

I contacted Julie about cleaning my house (don’t hate, I’m a full-time working mommy with a 3-month-old, a tornado of a husband and two crazy mutts!!!) and she was super-nice and super-responsive. And her prices were reasonable, too!!
