Note here from loyal reader Stephen:

Please join us at a community event next Thursday evening, November 10 at 7 pm

Fine Arts Theatre
(36 Biltmore Ave., downtown)

$5 – $10, sliding scale

You may have heard of Home Free Bagels, which is a local for-profit business making (delicious) bagels & employing folks who are or have been homeless.  Its goal is to reinvest its profits back into the community, so in addition to hiring HOPE to HOME clients (2 so far), it also supports HOPE to HOME financially.

Home Free Bagels has just made a short documentary about its work, and HOPE TO HOME AND JUST ECONOMICS will be co-hosting a special premiere of the film along with a reception next Thursday evening.

I’d love for you to come!  The film will be at 7, followed by a brief talk from each of the agencies & a reception.  Please plan to attend, and spread the word!
If you can’t come to the event, please ask for Home Free Bagels when you buy bagels. These are true New York style bagels!
They are available at the following:
French Broad Food Coop
West Village Market
Dripolator
Malaprops
World Coffee
Firestorm
Corner Kitchen
Books and Breadboard
City Mug
Filo
Mosaic Cafe
Old Europe
Biltmore Coffee
