I know there were probably a thousand tweets about Mos Def being in town, but we need to get over it. Celebrities know about our town and want to relax for a few days. Please let them.

I liked this blog a lot more when it went ragged on WLOS rather than fawning over every alleged spotting of every celebrity.
Remember the time a pre-divorce Tom Cruise moved to Biltmore Forest, or what, was it Town Mountain, of Beaver Lake, or Grove Park? How about the time Steven Speilberg bought the entire top floor in one of the condo developments downtown. Or wait, was it the ground floor, of the third floor.
Asheville is a funny place. We fancy ourselves as oh so cosmopolitan and sophisticated, yet we are as star struck as all the rubes in the hinterland we like to scoff at.
