Wow. I’m blown away by this. Here’s the breakdown – on Feb. 5 at Highland Brewing Co. in east Asheville, you pay 10 bucks and you get:

-A free compilation CD featuring songs by Now You See Them, Uncle Mountain, Modo, Johnson’s Crossroad, Underhill Rose, The Honeycutters and more.

-Get to taste a new Highland beer, the Highland LAMA Legato Saison. The LAMA Agency is a local music booking and promotion agency that put together the compilation CD. It plans to put on a concert showcasing the local bands on that CD March 26 at the Grey Eagle. That event is called the LAMA Festival.

-Get free food provided by local restaurants such as Mela, Salsa’s and Fiore’s (and more).

-Get to taste The Hop’s ice cream creation based on the new beer.

All this information is posted at lookatmeasheville.com. Get your tickets now.

The February 5th event at Highland Brewery goes from 5pm -9pm…food and music start at 6pm.

The March 26th event at The Grey Eagle will go from 5pm – 1am.

They both are promising to be incredible events. Thanks for asking…we'll see you there!

Wow, yeah, good question. Not even when I went all the way to "Purchase Tickets" on their site did I find a time. I'd love to go, but don't know when to show up!!

What time does this fest kick off and end? Wondering if it's an afternoon/evening thing or late night bash.
