Assistant Director for Jackson County Green Energy Park

Jackson County is recruiting for a full-time Assistant Director for the Green Energy Park in Dillsboro, NC. This employee will be responsible for general administrative and budgeting duties, grant writing and management, interfacing with artists and the public, and a wide range of marketing activities. Preferred qualifications would include experience in craft/art administration or management, budget development, event planning, social media and web marketing, and knowledge about the regional art scene.

This position requires some weekend and/or evening work, as well as occasional local and overnight travel. Preferred applicant would live within 30 minutes’ drive of Dillsboro. Applicant must have a current NC driver’s license. This is a permanent, full-time position with full County benefits, including paid healthcare, vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Starting salary for this position is $34,440, depending on qualifications.
