From the Harvest Records newsletter:

Record Store Day is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances.

Harvest will be celebrating this year by carrying as many copies of as many R.S.D.-only releases as we possibly can, but we are not able to guarantee anything. These releases are not to be sold beforehand or online — they are for YOU, OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS! They will be available at a first-come, first-serve basis.

We will open at 11am SHARP that morning. We recommend you get in line early if you are dedicated to receiving certain items — but again, please remember, WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE QUANTITY OF ANY PARTICULAR ITEM!

In addition to RSD items for sale, we will be hosting our LARGEST EVER $1 RECORD SALE! Literally thousands upon thousands of LPs for only $1 each!

There are an awful lot of cut and paste press releases here every day.

Nate, good point. I should have included it in the written portion of the post. But the date is right there in the logo, bottom right.

Seriously, a whole post about Record Store Day and you don't even bother to include one minor detail . . . . the date?

I know, I know, I can click through to the link and find out, but this "just cut and paste from the press release" method of yours sometimes leaves a bit to be desired . . .

This store seriously needs to pay employees more than poverty level wages.
