From the Asheville Citizen-Times:

The Harris Teeter store on Hendersonville Road will close June 17 and reopen around July 1 as a Lowes Food store, part of an agreement between the two companies involving 16 grocery stores in the Carolinas.

The South Asheville grocery store confirmed it is now offering discounts on food: case meats (hotdogs, etc.) are 25% off; dairy is 25% off; frozen meats and frozen seafood are 25% off; other frozen foods are 50% off; and some produce is discounted at at least 25% off.

Anyone finding any great bargains as this store closes?
